Magic...

No really, it is. I just used the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser for the first time and I am hooked. I needed to get marker off of Q's table and I couldn't use any harsh chemical because it would take the paint off, so I did it (thanks to the Pottery Barn customer service lady) and it was a magical experience! It also cleaned off the maker around her dry erase board! Now, I pride myself on being a scientist, but I have not idea how this thing works, and I really don't care because all it know is that it is magic!

Hairdos

So both Britton and Q got new hairdos this weekend. It was the first time I was ale to get Q's hair into pig-tials, and they are too cute. They stick out of her head like horns! Also, B decided to give himself a new haircut. Luckily this one was free (he does it himself) or he might have asked the barber for his money back! This do lasted all of about 24 hours, but it was hilarious while it lasted!

Then and Now

Yes, I'm jumping on the band wagon. It is amazing to me just how much Quinn has changed over the past year. Here is a picture of her from last January and on this January. I know I'm biased, but I think she just gets prettier and prettier!

While I'm working...

So, I am taking an "online" class this semester and it is hardly what I had thought an online course would entail. Basically we have to meet in a chat room every Tuesday night from 4:45 - 7:30 (yes, that's right in the middle of dinner and bath time) and listen to our teacher talk and we all have a microphone attached to our computers in which we can answer questions if we are called on. So needless to say it is very hard to pay attention to my professor while Q and I are locked up in our bonus room and I am trying to keep her entertained. I'm sure everyone in my class can hear her sing-a-long movie while I am answering questions. So, you might be thinking to yourself; What does Q do while Kim is on the computer?". Well, here it is... she loves to color and recently found out how great it is to color on herself!! Don't worry, last week she turned off the computer in the middle of the class (I think she was trying to tell me something...).

Snow in Georiga, what?

Yup, Q got to experience her first snow last night (other than the frozen hunks of plowed snow in New Jersey during Christmas) and she really didn't know what to think of it to be honest with you. Maybe it had to do something with the fact she was bundled up in about five layers and could hardly move. She liked watching it from the back door and was okay walking around in it outside, but she wanted no part in touching the stuff! I was impressed with the amount we got @ 2 inches and I must admit that it made some good snow balls (believe me, Britton hit me with a bunch!). Here are some pictures. I guess the next step is snow skiing... you never know!

Good Friends and Fun

Just a quick post to put up some pictures from last weekend when we got the chance to hang out with some good friends, David, and Michelle Godzisz and their girls. Q had so much fun playing with them.


They must have run up and down this hallway 20 times, needless to say Q was exhausted by the time we headed home!

Other than that things have been slow this week due to the fact Q came down with croup on Monday, no fun. The good news is that she no longer has a fever, but now she has no appetite (definitely not a healthy Lockhart when you don't want to eat) and when she coughs it sound like her left lung is coming out (no really it does)! Anyway, I hope these pictures brighten your day! P.S. Check this out... we actually got her mullet into a pony tail for about .2 seconds!
