Faces

The other day Q got a hold of my camera and took some hysterical shots of her sisters.  These are just a few of the faces Livi likes to make.  As you can see she has also started to "play" with baby dolls.  It is the sweetest thing seeing her talk to them, kiss them, and give them big 'ole bear hugs.  It still amazes me that you never have to teach a little girl to play with a doll.
"Ooohhh"

 "Kisses"
 "Crazy Face #1"
 "Crazy Face #2"
"Cheese"
"Scared Face"
Not to be out done, the big girls had add some of their own flare to the photo shoot.
(I'm not quite sure what's on her face...)
 Way too close up.
 Winking.
I sure do love all of these faces :).

Early Mother's Day

One afternoon I hopped in the shower and let the girls play in the back yard.  I was wondering why I didn't get interrupted like I do every other time I take a shower.  Well, this is why,..

Yup, they were so incredibly muddy they couldn't open the back door.
Just as I was about to get on to them they yell, "Happy Mother's Day"!
This is P's "cake" she made me.
 Q's contribution.
Can you tell what it says?
 My girls love me :).

Standing

Look who learned to stand up!  Her favorite thing is to use a person to push off of. I really think it is because she can see your face when you get excited for her :)

Homework

Isn't this how your kids do their homework?

Game Ball

We had a couple girls missing for the last season game, so we had to call in the reserves.  Pay Pay!  After watching Q play for three seasons she got her place on the team, even though she is not yet 5. I  had some cute pictures on my phone, but they have since been erased.  Regardless, we were so proud of her!

Quick game synopsis... it was cold, rainy, nasty night and were sure she was going to hate it, but she wasn't fazed.  Her first at bat was with 2 outs and bases loaded.   When she got up to the plate she had no idea where to stand or if she was a rightly or lefty.  After a some quick coaching and missing on the first 3 pitches, she cracked one off the tee and got an RBI to end the inning!  Her second at bat was similar with 2 outs and another hit off the tee.  We hadn't hit our 5 run limit so she made it to first base.  After the next hitter she advanced to second and actually stopped on the bag!  When she got ready to run before the next batter, she wasn't sure what to do; B looks back and she is facing center field ready to run.  This brought the whole crowd to a belly laugh!  What's even better is after the next batter she made it to third and the inning was over.  She was also awesome at cheering, go figure :).  She did tell me she was bored in the outfield because no balls were hit to her :).
When we got home and had baths she had her own game ball ceremony.
B giving her his "I'm so proud of you, you get the game ball" speach.
She was so excited!  So much so that she wanted to sleep with it that night.

I can't wait until next season when they will both get to be on the same team!

P's School Program

I've said it many times before, but we LOVE the preschool we have for our girls.   There aren't words enough and are hundreds of reasons why, but most importantly the ladies there love our children unconditionally.  Here are some shots from P's end of the year program.
This year she was a ballerina.

Someone was excited for the festivities to begin.

Her song was about what she wanted to be when she grew up.  He line was, "I'm a ballerina  I love to dance." and then she got to twirl!

The program was no more than 30 minutes, all the children had a part and sang their little hearts out.  It's easy to tell these ladies have been doing this for over 30 years.
Here is Q with P's teacher Mrs, Boswell, who taught Q when she was 4.

This teacher epitomizes what a preschool teacher should be and my children love her so much.
 Buddies

Another favorite is Mrs. Kathy.  She is so much fun and tells some wonderful Bible stories to the children.
On P's last day of school she started crying before we even got there.  Now, neither of our girls have EVER cried while going to Child's World.  I asked her what was wrong ans she said she didn't want to ever leave Mrs. Boswell's class!  To be completely honest I'm not ready for her to leave either.

My Girl

Has the most imaginative fashion sense.  You better believe I let her wear this to school and you better believe I told her she was just as beautiful as ever. (Just for record keeping purposes that is a soccer jersey under her dress.)

When it rains

Grab your fake horse and make a jumping course

Or learn to walk behind your car.
 So proud!!

Last Game

Here are some more softball pictures from Q's last regular season game.
We played our neighbors team.  I love that they could care less what team they are on, only that they get to play together on the playground afterwards!
Q getting some circle time.
 BFFs
 Cranking out a home run!
About to score that said home run!
Always giving directions to his girls.

 Intense!
We had such an incredible coaching staff this season.  They loved on our girls and made them love the game in turn.  Here are two of them picking on Q for wearing her sunglasses.  She is her daddy's daughter!
 Big Girl!
 This picture shows their personalities.
Now on to All Stars.  The season just got finished and we have already begun practicing for the summer.
I can remember driving past the ball field when the girls were much younger, seeing friends there, thinking that would be fun to spend our Saturdays playing baseball.  I never thought it would happen having three girls, but it looks like we might have a many years and hundreds of hours playing SOFTBALL and that makes me smile.
