Pay's Birthday Party

Last Friday we had a party for Pay at the house.  It was so much fun.  We had face painting, a jumpy, pinata, bobbing for apples, painting pumpkins, yummy food, and more.  There are lots of pictures of the fun, check them out.

Pay was scared to hit her pinata...

Even the little ones got into the action.
And then came the big guns and down she went.
This child LOVES people singing to her so this was her time to shine!

Happy Birthday Payton, we love you silly girl.

3

This is what 3 looks like...
Today our Payter is 3 and we are so excited!  P is such a special little girl.  She is sweet and salty, stubborn, sassy, talks like a 10 year old, a constant entertainer, loves music and dancing, loves her sister, will do just about anything for a laugh, could care less about learning her numbers, colors, or letters, but can tell you everything you want to know about Disney Princesses, loves going to school, and is just about the funniest kid I have met.  We love you P and can't wait to take you to "Princess Ice Age" (Princesses on Ice) for your birthday.

Guess what?

The word has been out for a few weeks now, but I wanted to officially announce that the Lockharts will be adding a new member to our family in March. We are super excited and can't wait to add another little one to this crazy journey we call our lives. Here is the video when we told the girls. Enjoy.

When it rains...

put on your bathing suit and go play.

In Q's words, the harder the rain the better.  It was the first time I have ever heard her complaining of the rain stopping.

Off to a new start

P has been waiting a long time to start preschool.  I know I have said it before, but we LOVE Child's World almost as much as our kids do (Q did 3 and 4 year old preschool there).  P will be going two mornings a week and was beyond herself that she actually gets to go this year.
Here she is before she got out of the car on day 1.
 Cheesing with Mrs, Kathy.
Waiting with Mrs. Mason for me to pick her up.
This is what she brought home on the first day.  Do you think she was excited to be there?
There were no tears, no drawn out goodbyes, no "I don't want to go's", only "by Mom, I love you, see you later."  When she got out of the car she didn't look back, just ran into the building to join her class.  Our little "P-Nut" is growing up before our eyes and I could't be more proud.

Show girls

One is a singer, the other a dancer. Can you guess which one?

Our type of fun

If this doesn't make you laugh, nothing will!

Photography class take 2

Through much trial and error I might actually be getting a bit better at this picture taking thing.  If nothing else it has forced me to really think about what and why I am taking pictures.
 P loves saying the blessing.

(FYI I am so over my garden.  If anyone needs cherry tomatoes PLEASE take them, they are coming out of our ears.)

For our last day of class we went out to a local part to take pics together.

Yeah, this joker though it was great to show off his stuff for the camera.  He might not have been the brightest match in the pack.
