Welcome to the world O

*Disclaimer - I don't really keep baby books and almost never print out pictures, so this blog post is as much for my record keeping as it is for those of you who take time to read it.  I hope you enjoy looking at our new little girl.
Olivia Elizabeth made her appearance last Thursday and we could not be more excited.   She was 19 inches long (the same as Pay), and my biggest baby tipping the scale at 7 lbs. 10 oz.  She has settled in very nicely and is loved on constantly by her big sisters.  We are currently battling some jaundice and adjusting to her unbelievably loud cries when she is bothered, but I will take that any day to have her with us.  Here are the pictures from our stay at the hospital.  We were so lucky that her delivery went easily and only had to stay for 24 hours.
I think this might be my only pregnancy pic... yes I was a beast and had to wear B's shirts for the last couple months.
Posing with Dr. Freeman after her debut.
The girls reaction after B told them Livi was born.
Meeting Livi for the first time.  Pay kept on saying, "I love my baby".

 Watching Livi's first bath.
Preview of things to come...hence her nick name "Angry Bird".  Her whole body turns red with she cries  screams.
B got to go into the nursery and watch them bathe her. I love this shot of the big girls in the background.

Family of four

Tomorrow we will no longer be a family of four, but a family of five.  We are  so excited to meet our new little girl and experience the joy that a new baby can bring.  Before bed we decided to take some shots of our last evening as a family of four.

Man I hope we don't scare her too much.
 Mad faces.

Now all we have to do is finalize a name and we will be ready to welcome her into our crazy, joyful, blessed family.

Q's how to

Q had to come up with a how to piece for school, so roasting marshmallows was the way to go.  Of course the whole fam had to get into the action.

Now who doesn't like a good marshmallow?

Bikes

This weekend we had some beautiful weather, so B and the girls worked outside almost all day.  They both got to ride their bikes and just hang out with their daddy.

After a good bike ride one must make it shiny.

Thank you spring for making your initial appearance!

Our artist

Q has loved and flourished in kindergarten this year.  One of her favorite parts of school is art.  Last week she was invited to the Gwinnett County Schools Tapestry Art Show.  We didn't know what a big deal it was until we got there and realized that every elementary, middle, and high school was represented there (that's 120+ schools educating over 160,000 students).
Here she is with Ms. Crosby, her art teacher.  It is also pretty cool that her school also had their principle and an AP there to congratulate their students.
 Showing off her work.
So proud!
B decided he would get also get crafty and take some pics of the girls...

I guess we have a house full of artists.
