Bowling

Last Monday the kiddos had the day off of school so we took the chance to take them all bowling.  It was so much fun!  Di Di did a great job helping the kids which made it even more special.

Even if Pay hit just one pin she would jump up and down yelling that she got a "stripe".  Too sweet.
The ball might look bigger than Q, but don't let that fool you because she was the only one to get a strike and a spare.  Her Daddy would be so proud.

My Oldest

She is smart, responsible (as much as a 5 year old can be), loves to please others, and is her Daddy's buddy in every way.

She loves to help with all sorts of stuff, especially building projects.  They are tackling built in shelves in the play room, I'll put up pics when it is done.

My Youngest

She is all things sugar and spice.

Someone once told me that even if we weren't having a third child Pay already has the middle child personality, and as a middle child myself, I 100% agree.  Maybe that's why I love her so much!

Wrapping up 2011

We spent the New Year's weekend back in Macon with the whole Lockhart clan.  There was some good music shared.
 More opening presents.
Just Dance on the XBox thing
And an attempt at family pictures.

Wonder what Caz is doing in the background?
Oh yeah, picking up doggy doo doo.  I love the kids reaction in this picture.  Luckily Uncle Britton came in to save the day.

Good bye 2011, I can't see what 2012 has to bring!

Christmas through Q's eyes

Q had a rock star Christmas this year.  It all started out with getting one snazzy camera from Grammy and Pop Pop.  I decided not to edit the pictures so you can see Christmas through her eyes.  Here are some shots she took Christmas Eve.
She and M.C. spent lots of time playing with these.
One of her favorite features of the camera is you can spin the lens and take pictures of yourself...

Not only can you take pictures of yourself, but you can give yourself funny faces.

The day after Christmas she hit the road and headed out to New Jersey to visit my grandmother and to take a trip into New York City.  She was there when she was 18 months, but of course has no recollection of her trip.
Waiting on the train into the city
Supposedly the train was super busy and this is how she and Paps had to ride.
Her favorite part of the city was looking at all of the window displays and decorations.

Eating a hot dog from a street vendor.

This is the only shot she got from the actual American Doll store.  According to them half of the city was in there buying these dolls.  She had been waiting for the present all year.
The ride back on the train was much more roomy.
 Their first night together...

I can't wait until I get to go on one of these trips :).
