The Beach

We got the chance to go to the beach this past week and it was wonderful. One of the best parts was that it was the week after all of the spring breaks and before summer so not only did we get a great deal on a "sweet house" (that's what Mari Cagle called it), but the beach was virtually free of people. Here are some pictures I thought you might like...
Yup we had the redneck baby! I thought it was going to be cooler at the beach than it was and didn't put Q in a bathing suit, this is the result! We all had a blast flying kites!

Q's favorite thing about the "beach" was the pool, go figure! Q had no fear at all about jumping to B and putting her face in the water. Hopefully by the end of the summer we will have many more opportunities to practice our "swimming". Finally here are some shots we took at the beach. Notice from my and MC's hair it was quite breezy and though I might look like I am about to have this baby any second I really am only 17 weeks along (oh joy!).
All in all we can't wait for next year and Amelia Island this summer! It's amazing the joy an almost 2 year old can bring to a beach trip, Q was so much fun!

Kid for Sale...

No, not really, but here is a quick little post before I enter our pictures from this past week at the beach (don't be too jealous). We are kinda working on potty training with Q, so she often runs around without a diaper. People say it helps, but more than that my kid really likes to be naked. We were goofing around tonight as we were unpacking and this is what happened. So funny!!
