Rancho Alegre
Today was the open house at Rancho Alegre (which means Happy Ranch in Spanish) and it was way fun. I didn't know the place even existed until today and now we will always partake in their festivals. They had hayrides, horse rides, goat milking (Q was scared to try), petting zoo, jumpy place, food, and more. We are crossing our fingers that we win the raffle for the free birthday party because that would rock!
Q desperately wanted to pet the chickens, but thate was on thing I had to put my foot down about.
Petting the donkeys was a favorite, Q informed me that she wanted to have 5 donkeys at her house, when she told B he was not quite as excited about the new animal endeavor.
The baby donkey loved Harry and Q.
All Pay could say was "Wow" (which is her new favorite word by the way).
Gearing up for a horse ride.
This was Q's first time on a big horse by herself, and let me tell you, they were way taller than me. She was not scared one bit and loved every second of her ride.
Check out the dynamic duo.
That smile is priceless.
Another one of her favorite things to do is bounce...
There was a lull in the action so P got to bounce (well to get bounced by her sister) and of course she loved it.
This picture just about sums up the fun we had this morning. Adios partners.

From pretty to messy...
Q can go from girly girl to a mess in no time. She loves dressing up an having her nails painted, but put some yummy chocolate in front of her and all neatness is out the window.
This is her favorite dress and check out the beautiful hairdo from Kallie. Tye have a lot of fun together.
I'm not sure who enjoyed this nail session more!
It's hard to tell, but Daddy got crazy and alternated colors on her nails. I'm telling you, he is a man of many talents.
See, I actually do cook. It is hard to tell from this picture, but she is really into picking out her own clothes. We don't fight...this is how we went to a birthday party. Her rule when she picked out the shirt was that her shorts had to have either pink or blue in them, and as you can tell the floral print on her pants is mostly blue! Good job Q!

Haircuts and muskrats...
Q got another haircut yesterday and I went even shorter than before. It is really adorable, so much that even she tells me that her hair is cute! What a little diva.
Check out the back, it's so cute they had to shave the back of her neck!
In Pay news, she is getting to be a little piggy. It is very common for her to out eat Q. She is always happy in her highchair...
Today was the first day P was able to ride the seesaw with Q at the park. She loved it, even when her face was bouncing off the middle green part.
When we went to feed the ducks I saw this big rat looking tail under the dock. Well, this is what is was. Yes, I am a science teacher and kept telling Q it was a river otter, but upon further counsel we are pretty sure it is muskrat...hummm.

INK Pictures
My sister-in-law came through and had her camera yesterday at the children's museum, so here are a couple of cute pics from her. Thanks Kristy, you are the best!

Pay loved the train table!
At least she is not scared of planes like her mother...
These must be the prettiest doctor and patient I have ever seen. They just couldn't decide where they wanted to play so they brought the dress up station with them!

And because he is so handsome her is our Nater-Roo

So mad...
that I forgot my camera today. Nate and Mari Cagle spent the night last night and we went to the chindren's museum today. The best part was for the first hour we were the ONLY people in the place and when the other 3 kids showed up later it still felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The kids had a great time to say the least, but of course I forgot my camera. I did get these pics last night. I guess I never sat down to think about how far away Nebraska is from us and that makes me sad because the past 24 hours was so much fun.
Little fairies.
The Karate Kid. Poor Nate didn't have much boy stuff to pick from to play with, so this is the extent of his dress up outfit...sorry buddy.

The Fountains
We went to the fountains in Suwanee today and it was just as fun as ever. Pay liked it much more than I thought and of course Q was all about running through the water.. My camera got about as wet as I did, so of the little pictures I took they weren't the best, but they will do.
The three amigos/stooges - I'm not sure which role they fit.
Waiting for the water to shoot out.
Tough you cannot see her face, she was very excited.
Kallie and her buddy Pay.
Before...
and after.
