Dax's Party
was awesome! It was at Ink and the whole family got to join in on the fun. I think B had even more fun than the girls.

Eating in the restaurant.
Harry and Q touching the "gooey stuff".
Obviously the girls go to the grocery store with me a lot because they were pros at shopping. If only Publix had mini carts like these there would be way fewer fits to get out of the cart and help.

Box
B came home Friday with it. No Christmas, birthday, or any other present has even come close to the fun the girls have had in this bad boy. Hadley and Harris came over to join in the fun. Boy would we have saved tons of money if we would have only known the joy this free box brings to kids.
B cut in some sun roofs to bring in more light. It might not look like it, but the boxis so big the kids can stand up inside of it, Q and Harry are standing on chairs to stick their heads out.
Speaking of Hadley and Harris, here are some more pictures (blackmail for sure) from the evening.

Emergency
Though it was not funny at 7:45 on Wednesday morning, this is something we will look back on and be very thankful for (and maybe even chuckle). This was the scene outside our house.
When I woke up I smelled smoke coming out of the vents, so I shut the heat off and proceeded to take a shower. By the time I got out of the shower the girls rooms were filled with smoke and thus decided to call the fire department. In the end it was our blower on the heater overheating and causing the smoke and we are all safe and sound. It was quite the spectacle when 3 fire trucks, 2 ambulances, 3 police cars, and 1 fire SUV were lined up the street. Just another day in our lives!

Warmer Weather
We were lucky this week and were finally to play outside for a day or two, it was so nice. We went to the part until the girls could no longer feel their fingers. Even then Pay pitched a fit when she had to get back in the car (maybe I was the only one who was freezing).

The park is way more fun now that they can play together and Pay can climb up on the playgrounds. I can't wait until it gets warmer to enjoy it even more.
We got to enjoy another of or favorite things this week, paying with chalk. If I do say so, Q is becoming quite the artist.
Q is showing off a "picture" she drew for Grammy and Pop Pop.
Pay is not quite big enough to reach the peddles, but we had fun tooling around the driveway on this bad boy! Luckily it is constructed well enough to hold an adult standing on the back.

A bear in our house
Snow (kinda)
We got a dusting of snow last night that began right before dinner. We had to go check it out. Nothing really stuck at first, but it was fun to try to catch it on our tongues.
This morning when Q woke up she was thrilled to see that there was actually some snow on the ground. Harry came over and they were able to play for about 20 minutes before cold and hunger got the best of them.
Copy Cat
P loves doing anything and everything her sister does. This is how I found them yesterday.
Pay got this great blow up car that holds balls for Christmas. The girls quickly decided that crawling in and out of the sides was way more fun than the original design. Here P is showing off what she learned from her sister.
This is what happens to their hair the longer they play.
Gymnastics
Q started gymnastics again, and has even less kids in her class this year than last - 2! It is really great since she is so shy around new people. She did really well, listened to directions, and even flipped over the bar all by herself. The hardest thing was trying to keep Pay off the equipment, she desperately wanted to be a part of the action.
Check out the outfit - yes, I realize it is no longer Christmas!
I am so glad this is no longer a parental involvement class after yesterday when she asked me to do a cartwheel. I used to do a mean cartwheel back in the day, but I quickly realized that I am almost 30 and do not have the flexibility or strength I once did. She looked me and told me there was no way what I just attempted was a cartwheel. Thanks buddy!
