Ballet take 1

Q has been doing gymnastics for a while now and decided that she wanted to switch to ballet. She had her first class last week and loved it. I don't know where she gets it from because I can still remember crying everyday my mother took me to ballet class (go figure), maybe she gets it from her dad :)!
She sure is one pretty ballerina.
Poor Pay thought she was going to get to go as well (she even wore her outfit), thankfully Daddy had his phone to watch videos on.
Warming up.
Look at her go.
Yes, my daughter is officially the girliest girl ever!

Jumping!

We have been rocking out some Monkey Joe's lately because of the weather and birthday parties. I love seeing my kids jump and have a great time with their friends.
Whoo hoo!
What a sweet face.
Uh oh, someone sees the dressed up Monkey Joe...not a fan. She would not get out of the little kid jumpy until he left.
Haley's first time; definitely not the last!
This was her mad face for some reason.
All worn out.

Chore Chart

About a week ago Q told me that she wanted to start doing chores so she could "get her own money to buy things". So, as any good mother would do, I more than willingly obliged. She has seven chores and has been doing pretty well so far, already earned herself a dollar in quarters because that looks like a whole lot more money to a four year old. So proud of her stickers.
One of her least favorites - making the bed.

When it snows...

A 15 minute juant to the mall turns into a 45 minute ice skating of four wheels. Definitly not one of the best decisions I have ever made as a mom, but when we have been stuck in the house for almost 4 days we all needed to get out. The smiles on their faces were worth the treck.
It was nice being some of the only kids in the play area.

And new shirts to boot!

Way better with Q

Playing in the snow was so much more fun with Q. We were able to get Q back Tuesday and were all so happy to have her home. As soon as she got home we went out to play in the snow. In the end even Pay enjoyed it more with here sister home.
All by herself...
B had been looking forward to jumping on the snowy trampoline since Sunday night. He did inform me that this is how he broke his wrist as a child by jumping off and trying to land a flip in the snow. Luckily they stuck to jumping in the snow on the trampoline.
Pay was not quite as jazzed about the experience.
This is more her style.
And this is totally B's style...
Best and fastest way we found to get the girls down the street.

First snow of 2011 (and hopefully the last)

I love snow, I really do, so I was excited when we saw this out our window Sunday night.
This is what we woke up to in the morning, there was anywhere from 5-6 inches on the ground.
Pay got all geared up, but this is the last smile you will see for the rest of the morning.
And she's spent!
At least B and Collin could enjoy the snow.
And Isabel
Daddy and Pay's turn to be pulled by Mama
Buddies.
The worst thing about the snow is Q is down in Macon with Grammy and Pop Pop and the roads are too bad to go get her. Pay has been missing her something awful. Here she is talking to her before she went to bed.
Now I am officially over the snow because I really want to head out and pick up our sweet Q.
