AHG Year End Ceremony

Q really enjoyed being a  part of AHG this school year.  For the end of the year ceremony she was asked to make a dessert that represented AHG.  Well, here it is.  

She baked and decorated this ALL BY HERSELF.  From measuring and mixing the ingredients to cutting the strawberries for the top she did it.  And it won third place for the tastiest.  She was going up against highschoolers!!

Mother's Day

Looked like this in our house.  

He was getting for the annual Mother's Day Cook Off.  He made one mean Peanut Butter Dessert.

End of Spring Softball

We had an incredible spring softball season.  The Diamond Divas may not have won many games, but the girls learned a ton, got better, laughed a lot, and had some AMAZING coaches.  I cannot begin to express how great our coaching staff was this season.  The coaches loved on all of the girls and were the most positive men I have ever been around in all my years of being in sports.  Here are some pictures of our team party.  We played a parents and kids game and ended the night with pizza and trophies.  There was so much laughter, it was the perfect was to end our season.

We have been lucky enough to have Mrs. Terri Jo's granddaughters on our team for the past two seasons, and we get to go to church with them.  It warms my heart to see her love on our Payter.

Field Day 2013

It was so much fun watching Q participate in Field Day this year.  She has made some wonderful friends and has developed quite a competitive spirit.  I can remember this being one of my favorite times while I was in school and she is quite fond of it too (though I remember getting ribbons for placing in different events, now it is a team effort...oh well).
