When it Rains

Put on your baiting suit and get to playing.

It also makes for a great way to practice your sliding!

It has been such a rainy summer here we have had to figure out ways for the kiddos to get to play outside.  It reminds me of summer days when  I was growing up.

Too Cute

I love them so!

Sisters

Q and P have a handshake that they do (usually when they are in the bathtub, but that's another story), they say, "We're sisters and we love each other!" and then they give each other a high five and then chest bump.  It is the sweetest thing and I know I must savor it while they are young and still like to play with each other ;).  Ever since O has been born they have immediately added her to this sisterly love.  She adores them and they adore her.
This is how I found the girls the other day.

It makes my heart smile seeing them so happy together.

Brown Bag Concert

Spending a FREE morning at the Brown Bag Concert is a great way to end a week.
They had different stations set up for the girls to make crafts,

 get their faces painted,

 have "fair hair" done,
listen to "island music" while limbo-ing

and get some snow cones from a super fun cart!

Fun was had by all and we can't until next time!

INK

One of our to-do's on our "Lockhart Ladies Summer o' Fun" list was going to INK.  This place never disappoints!  Even Livi was able to get into the action this go 'round.
 Liv found the toddler room.

 My little farmer.
 My two little vets.
Look who found the grocery store.

 Buddies.
I love watching my kids play here and see their imaginations come to life.  They are too sweet.

Summa Time

= S'mores!!!

All Stars

Q earned the chance to play on the T-Ball All Star team this summer.  She had a great season, made lots of new friends, and became a better ball player.  It was a much different level of competition then she was used to and I'm so proud of the way she stepped up her game.
Look at the third base coach!
Pay was the ultimate cheerleader...and fashionista!
This little one was such a trooper.  She loved clapping for the girls and yelling when the crowd cheered.

 Check out Q-Dog!

Maybe one of the Lockhart girls will be a part of next summers team as well; we just signed both Q and P up for the fall season, so time will only tell.

1st Swim of the Year

To round out our Memorial Day we took the girls to Di Di's to swim.  Besides the water being FREEZING they had a great time.
P was swimming at the end of last summer, but was a bit nervous at the start.

Q was quick to jump in and get swimming.

Liv was not a fan at all so she did what she does best...snuggle with her daddy.

 The aftermath.
I guess a parade, playing in the yard, and swimming will do this to you :).
