The Old Front Wheel Sleigh

We love National Lampoons Christmas Vacation and this year Britton got to live it out.  We totally pulled a Griswald this year.
Check out B behind his pride and joy!
These little elves are just as cute!

Pumpkin Chucking (sort of)

B might have three girls but they sure are not afraid of getting dirty.  They got creative in disposing of our pumpkins this year.

Yes, even our BB gun is pink!
When Plan A fails you go to Plan B.

I wonder if we are going to have our own pumpkin patch in our front yard next year after this.

December Family Times

In between Thanksgiving and Christmas we got to spend time just having fun with our extended family.
Check out this cute bunch of cousins celebrating G's birthday.
Chad got creative and made his own Swedish Tiech.  The kids were in awe.

Livi in her happy place.

Turkey Day

We have been spending the past few Thanksgivings in Clemsin and loving every minute of it.  When this crew gets together a good time is definitely had by all.  This is one good looking group of cousins.

Lots of corn hole was played!

Aunt Kristy always hosts one great shindig.
I love that spending time as a family for a low key weekend is the theme of our Thanksgiving.

UGA vs GSU

A rare adults nigh out allowed us the chance to go to a UGA game with some of our very best friends.  As always lots of laughter and a bit of football watching was enjoyed.  Days like this are good for the soul.

I had to get a shot of my favorite player, Malcolm  Mitchell!

Lady O

If anyone has met Olivia they have met personality.  I don't know if it's a result of being the youngest of three girls, or just the way the Good Lord made her, but she is quite the character.  Here is some photo proof.
O and her buddy Emmy!
Giving Luke a facial.
Rare snuggle time ( unless her sisters are snuggling with us then of course she is all about jumping in there for her turn).
She must have not been feeling well when I took this picture because this NEVER happens anymore.
Working on the "puter" just like mom.
I sure am lucky I get to be this crazy girls mama!

Our Schoolmaster

In school this year Q got to be a part of a wax museum for her colonial project.  Of course she had to go rogue and pick a job not on the list - a schoolmaster.  It was so awesome watching her and her classmates hard work come to life.  I wish I could load the video on here of her speech, it was so good.
Other classes came in to participate in the museum and learn about colonial jobs.  P was in awe.
I LOVE that these two have gotten to be in class together this year.  Such a sweet time they they will look back in and be so grateful for.
Nothing like having a cousin your age!

Another Season in the Books

Fall brings another softball season in our home.  This past season was Q's last in Pee Wee and P's last in T-Ball.  Both girls played their hearts out and had a blast with their friends both new and old.
Love that these two got to have this season together (O manages her way in just about every picture).
B always finds a way to coach, even during the team party.
Q's sweet team.

Crazy friendships are always a perk of softball!

I can't wait to see what this spring has in store.

Pilgrims and Indians

Liv loves her school and so do we.  It is such a blessing to get to go to her special events.  Check out our little Indian .
She even made me a special Pilgrim hat to wear too.
Love my sweet, silly girl.  This is how she wanted to wear her headband!
Happy Turkey Day!

It's Like Pulling Teeth

We love our dentist and are lucky enough to be friends with her outside of her office. My kids have always loved going to see her until this past time. The time had come for Q to get a tooth pulled and she wa HOT about it.  At least things started out smooth with Liv and P.

After a WWE wrestling match to get Q in the chair and then another 5 minutes of forcefully holding the nitrus over her mouth (she was so snotty from crying it wouldn't go in her noes) we finally got her calmed down.
She cracked us up with how loopy it made her.  She couldn't even keep her arms and legs on the chair because they kept flopping off.  She kept saying they felt like jello.
She must have asked Michelle 10 times, "you're just going to wiggle my tooth, right?"  In this super high pitched mouse voice.  When she handed her the tooth in a treasure chest Q was stunned.  In her slurred, half drunk speech she couldn't even believe that she had pulled out.  It was classic!
She did admit after it was all over that it wasn't really that bad and she likes the way the nitrus made her feel... Oh boy!

On a side note, you know things were rough for a bit when your dentist has to call you on her way home to make she she didn't leave Q traumatized!  Praise God for good friends who pull teeth for a living!

Wrapping up Fall Ball

Q and P both played softball again this fall.  They were both on wonderful teams with a great group of girls.  It was a cold end of the season tournament, but fun was still had by all.
Check out Q blazing towards home.
Our Pay Pay is pretty quick herself

P's t-ball team named themselves the Sharks!
In their eyes, only 25% of softball is about the actual game.  50% is getting to spend time with friends

The other 25% rests on the trophies and medals!
Even bigger than any of these reasons is the fact they have the best coach ever!

Never to be left out O gets to spend time with her "best friends" at the ball field.

Love me some softball!
