Big Girl Bed
Last weekend we moved Pay to a big girl bed and she has done so well (expect for today when she realized she could get out). It looks so big compared to her.
Her sister is pretty pumped about it!
Here is a pic of Q in her bed for the first tim...so sad, my babies are growing up.

so proud
the girls love playing outside and I have to admit we've got some pretty fun toys in the back yard. The other day they were playing while I was working on dinner and things got a bit too quiet (we have a screened door and fenced in yard) so I knew something was up. I went to check it out and found this...
Can you tell how proud of herself she is? That's a sand table not a sand box people.
Yes that's purple sand on her tongue. It is not the first time she has eaten sand, actually it happens just about every time they play. I'm not sure she has the idea of pretend down yet - Q is big on making "birthday cakes" out of sand and well, P likes to eat them. That's my girls!

A Day of Firsts
Yesterday was an awesome day! The day began with, Q had her final gymnastics "meet" and got her very first trophy! I'll post the video later, until then here are her pictures!
She did awesome and was awarded her trophy in front of a whole group of parents!
Getting a celebratory hug from her little sis!
B and I went right from gymnastics to the Warrior Dash and it rocked! It was by far the most fun, well organized race we have ever run. Some of us in our group decided to dress up like this...
Thug life!
B and Chuck - who landed us these sweet threads! Check out their tats!
Sistas 4 life!
The after shot! I really did get muddy, but I decided to swim over the last obstacle for good measure!
Any race that gives you a t-shirt, hat with horns and free beer (which we did not indulge in) is tops in our book!
The best part is B wore the horns and shirt to church!

New Do
When it rains
take your kids to the pet store. My kids love it! The pictures are a bit blurry, but you can still see their excitement. One day I will break down and spend a bazillion dollars and take them to the real aquarium, but this one works just fine for now.
The fish are Pay's favorite by far.
They also really like the birds because they are eye level. P is probably kissing the glass in this shot...

We didn't get a shot of Q's favorite because it is really hard to take pictures while you are holding two kids up to watch the dogs get their hair cut! Now if I can only figure out how to avoid a terradactyl meltdown upon leaving it would be awesome!
The fish are Pay's favorite by far.

Thank you for praying...
Your faithfulness to pray for our Pay has led to this...
May 18, 2009 x-ray = 25 degree curve
November 2009 = 10 degree curve
And drumrool please.... May 17, 2010 = straight spine! The doctor didn't even bother to measure it because he thinks it is 1-2 degrees if anything!
Psalm 31:17 says, "The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles."
The LORD healed our girl, so much so that we don't have to even go back to the doctor for 5 more years!! Amen, amen, and amen.

Sweets
Last weekend we got the chance to go to Macon and filled out bellies with lots of yummy stuff. We started off the day picking strawberreis. Q rocked, P liked it for a bit until she got sand in her shoes.

We finished out the afternoon with a day at the famous NuWay to eat some yummy hot dogs. For those of you who haven't been there, think of as Varsity but way less crowded and without frosted oranges.
This is Q's new "cheese". That's my girl.

You've come a long way baby
Last week Q had her preschool performance and she did AWESOME. She sang a song "Button Up Your Overcoat" in front of a church full of people without missing a beat. She looked adorable and sang even better. I don't have great video, but I'll try to get more from my dad.
Pay loved watching the performance so much, the hardest thing was keeping her off stage.
Q was so proud of herself (so was Di Di).
Reason #1 we love Child's World... Mrs. Scott.

singing
Pay has really started talking and singing lately. Check her out! This end of the video is a bit harder to make out, but she knows what it means. Listen carefully and you'll know it's Jesus Loves Me.
Here is a sneak peak of Q's school performance this coming up Thursday. They have been practicing all week and she is very excited about her part! Excuse the hiney in the shot, my kids don't know the term modesty.
