Wednesday at the Beach

I wanted to start out this post by showing Q's favorite part of vacation - her sleeping arrangements. She and Grandmama have been sharing a bedroom this week and it has been so sweet. After we read her books the two of them read for a while and when G-ma turns off the light they retire for the evening. One morning Q asked me why Grandmama doesn't read books with picture and why she doesn't talk when she reads. It was so funny. It actually works out great because Q can read as loud as she wants and G-ma can't really hear her because she has her hearing aids out.Today B and I got to go into Charleston for the day and Mom and Dad kept the girls. We started out with some shopping and them some yummy food an Hymans. B was all about the hat shops.
Then we took a really cool carriage tour around the city. Here is Danny our horse.
Standing on an old school carriage stepping stone.
Here are some shots I got along the tour.
After the tour we went to the slave museum which was quite moving and then on to see some more sites in the harbor. This is what the girls did today with DiDi, Paps, and Grandmama.
Not a bad day at all!
