We are so glad Cole turned 5 because he had one rockin' slip-n-slide party. There was tons going on when we first got there so the girls spent the beginning like this, soaking it all in.
Probably because this is what was seen on the slip-n-slide. Notice the dish soap in Chuck's hand, yup all sorts of lubricants were brought out to get people going faster down the slide. The top runners were Crisco and soap. You can only imaging the nasty film on all who went down.
After a while the girls joined in the water fight.
And Bell.
Maria was one prime target.

I can honestly say it was the first time in my life I have ever heard children (and grown men) saying, "more Crisco please" (it was for their bodies), or seen a little one getting doused with dish soap in an effort to make her go faster down the hill.
Finally my little ones got in the mix.
