Big Red Apple Circus

That's not the real name of the circus, but it's what the girls call it.  It is such a fun circus because it is under a big top and very small so you can see everything.  We haven't been in a few years, so when we heard it was back in town we jumped at the chance to go with the Haynes'.

Cutest kiddos getting all ready for the show to begin.  About half way through they didn't even want to sit with the grown ups anymore and moved to the row above us.
 One of Q's favorite parts.
 B's favorite part
 Big girl was mesmerized.
All Pay could say during this act was "wow".

This was my favorite part, slack-wire-man.
I can't wait for next year!

When you were doing this...

your little sister was doing this.

Don't get mad when your crayons are soggy.

Fashionista

Having 3 girls I am anticipating many fights about clothing in my future.  Currently we have a rule that your clothes have to be appropriate for the weather and all of your parts have to be covered. Pretty simple. Q has gotten pretty good at picking out matching outfits, but our Payter definitely has a fashion style of her own.  I'm okay with it.  Actually I encourage her to get dressed by herself (its one less thing I have to do for her).  I think she does a wonderful job if I do say so myself (this is coming from a woman whose mother forced her to wear dresses every Friday so people wouldn't think she was a little boy).  Look at our fashionista!

Thanks to Aunt Mandy she has also gotten to be a fan of the side ponytail.
Just today when she got into the car to go to school she gasped and said, "Wait Mom, you forgot to take a picture of my outfit today."  At least she's proud of herself.

Paps' 60 Birthday

The whole lot of us got to go away for Paps' 60 birthday.  The bummer was he came down with the flu, so we had to miss out on some hanging-out-with-Paps-time.
Here is how we passed the time.

 Baths by the fire.

Indoor s'mores.
We even woke up Sunday morning and had our own church service led by these cuties.

Happy Birthday Paps, hopefully the next one will find you feeling better.

Field Trip

Payter got to go to her first official field trip and she loved it!  They took Publix by storm!

 Livi enjoyed herself too.
 Nothing like straight icing
and a block of cheese to make any field trip a winner!

10 Months

I've been hesitant to write this blog post because I don't want to write the words 10 months in relation to Livi.  I don't want to admit that my baby is growing and almost 1 year old.  She is such a joy and I feel so bless to be her (and her big sister's) mommy.
10 months has finally brought crawling forward.  It looks like she is doing the worm, but it is definite crawling to a specific object (usually one of her sister's toys).  She can also stand at for a long time holding on to a table or couch.  Dada and Mama are still her favorite words, but she babbles all of the time.  She waves hello and goodbye, makes the funniest faces, claps for herself, makes one awesome lizard tongue, and has mastered the art of the fake laugh.  She is an awesome eater and eats any food we put in front of her (you can tell when you look at her sweet belly).  She often is at the dinner table before her sisters and is still chowing down when they are done. She had her first ear infection a few weeks ago, but it responded nicely to the antibiotic.  Of course she still adores her sisters and Daddy, and has started crying when we drop her off at the nursery or bible study.  She loves sleeping, but only in her bed, so that is tricky with her being #3.  She loves being the center of attention and tries to "make eyes" at anyone who passes her way.

This is her new favorite food.  Every time B put it in her mouth she would "mmmmm' and grab the container!
A girl after my own heart :)!

Dancing in the dark

Combine two little girls, complete darkness, music, and glow sticks and this is what you get.

It is quite entertaining, if I do say so myself.

More firsts

Pay has started up gymnastics again.  Isn't she the cutest gymnast you have ever seen?
Livi is learning how to use the iPad.
Q had her first lock in with American Heritage Girls.

Up until this point she had only spent the night with family, so we I was a bit nervous about how she would do.  We got her and Kallie all set up and I left her for the evening.  The had activities, food, movies, Wii, and a bunch of other things for them to do during the night.  When she got home the following morning I asked her how she did.  Through some overly exhausted tears she told me she was very tired because she didn't go to sleep AT ALL!  She said, "Mom, why did they make me set up my sleeping bag if no one told me to go to sleep?".  I guess when you're 6 if no one tells you to go to bed, you don't.
First cousin with newest one.
