Christmas Carols

Earlier this month a bunch of us got together to sing carols and celebrate the Christmas season. The kids had so much fun singing carols with Paps. (When I finally get my videos to load I have some great video of the kids singing and dancing.)
Here they are getting ready to sing.
Look at the joy on their faces!
This was their motions to Rudolph.
Even Di Di got in on the dancing.
Dad and his groupies.
From our family to yours we wish you a very Merry Christmas.

Gymnastics Program

Q had a gymnastics program this past weekend and she did awesome. Each gymnast performed on the bars, beam, vault and floor. Because she is so little she is quite good. Here she is warming up about to get in her bridge.
Her biggest fan loves watching everything her Sissy does.Sweet thing. She is a head shorter than the next smallest girl. She is also the youngest, being the only 4 year old in her class.
Bars.
Cheesing.
Beam.
About to dismount. I think her feel are just as wide as the beam so she is pretty stable :).
Floor.
Getting her medal.
Just like her big sissy. Check out her gymnastics pose!

Outfits

Q has officially worn these boots more than I have since I've owned them. She is such a girly girl.
She loves her apron from Aunt Kristen. It is super cute.
We got B his first customized cycling jersey for his birthday. The girls call him Papa Bear, hence the design.

Holiday Spirit

I love decorating the house for Christmas almost as much as Q. It makes me so excited (and admittedly a bit overwhelmed) by how much she loves decorating. She loved pulling decorations out of boxes and hanging ornaments on the tree. It's hard to tell from this picture, but this is how a tree looks when it is decorated by a 3 foot tall four year old - beautiful!
Payton on the other hand was more interested in making people laugh by putting ornaments up her shirt and calling them (I'll let you fill in the blank)...
Daddy is all about his girls and since that's we have he is getting them on his side when it comes to wanting a four wheeler one day for Christmas.
Pay was making the noises, hence the face.
Christmas is going to be so much fun this year!

Visit with Santa

Last weekend we took the girls to see Santa at our favorite spot, Bass Pro. Let me tell you, he is one of the best around. Q was beyond excited and P was too at some points. Here they are waiting to meet the big guy.Q colored him a picture earlier in the day.
Right before we were about to see him the little girl in front of us started freaking out. Pay took notice and got a bit worried.
Notice how Q is the only one making the walk to him. Yup, Pay is stuck on my hip and won't go near him.
The smart Elves knew to put this chair in front of Santa and then he would sneak up at the last second. Pay was not taking her eyes off him.
Check out the smiles. Why? Because she caught him walking towards her and then, as you can see from the picture, he made a quick u-turn. She thought she was in the clear.
Gotcha! What and awesome 2010 Santa shot, finger in the nose and all!
After Pay left Q got up on his lap and talked to him for a minute. It was the first time she actually sat on his lap without crying. She was a bit timid, but did it. When we asked he what they talked about she said she couldn't remember. I'm sure all she was think about was, "Holy moly, I'm actually sitting on his lap, do I smile or cry?"
Daddy's favorite part, teaching his girls to shoot. After Santa we walked through the mall and I got some super cute pics. I love this picture of B and his girls. What is great is I got one just like it when Q was younger than Pay.Here is Q at 18 months.Pay and her buddy Kallie.
Who needs friends when you have cousins, and these two are definitely best of buds (yes, this is how they walked through the mall).
Merry Christmas!

Family Pictures 2010

Every-other-year we take pictures with the Hutcheson side of the family. This year we took the pics at Mandy and Chad's new house (keep your fingers crossed). Other than the fact you can see gum in the kids mouth's for the majority of the shots, I think we got some cute ones. It is amazing to see just how much the girls have changed from least year's shots and even crazier when you look at the whole bunch from two years ago. At least G didn't wear his farmer outfit like in that set of pics :).
Bro and sis.
The whole gang.
The great-grand kids with Grandmama.
The Hutcheson's
Checking out the horses.
Nothing better than horses and G.
Best buds.
Excuse the crazy eye and even crazier hair because B sure looks handsome in the shot!
How could you not love an uncle like this?
