About 6 or so months ago B and his brother got this crazy idea to do an half-iron man duathlon. What that means is a 3.1 mile run, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run, YIKES. B trained his tail off (literally, you should see him now) and he rocked that race. We are so proud of him. We got to see him and his brother finish the race and cheer for them.

Q ran the last couple hundred yards of the race with him. It was so sweet. They gave her his finishing medal and you would have thought she ran that whole race with him, she was so proud!

The rest of the weekend saw a lot of relaxing, swimming, and hanging out.
On another note just two weeks after he finished this race he got the idea to do a 101 mile bike ride (his first century rice), and would you know that he also rode the heck out of that one as well! We are so proud of you "Papa Bear".
