phone dump take 2

It has been since February that I have posted pictures from my phone, so get ready for the mother load!
Dids took the kiddos blowing for valentines.
Softball started.  Q couldn't wait to put on her uniform.
Kallie and Q got to go to an American Girl tea party.
Bingo night at school was so much fun!

P sporting her sparkle boots (she still tries to put on these babies in the middle of the summer).
March brought lots of birthday parties.  This painting party for Whit was a huge hit.

Guess who came in March?  Here is O less than one day old.
My first running attempt with all 3.
Pay was sad because her "bubba" got sick and wasn't at our house.
 Sporting Landon's birthday present.
So cute!  Dress for success day.
Landon and Q getting to celebrate their summer birthdays at school.
 Look who learned to smile.
Pay's last day of 3 year old preschool with her buddy Lorelei.
Our little ballerina getting ready for her recital.
 No comment needed.
Summer started and we have had a blast!
One of our first events was going to see a magician at the library.  I was glad he made it through the performance.
 Catch air.
 More bowling with buddies.
 The girls LOVED laser tag.

Not long into summer Pay got hit in the head with a foul ball at B's softball game.  Here she is at the emergency room.  About a week later we had a CT scan and realized that the hit actually caused a fractured skull and small bleed.  We go back tomorrow for a follow up to make sure all has healed.
 "Hot Stuff"
 Summer haircuts were in order.

For Aunt Kristy and Uncle Brandon.
 Our garden really took off...
 until the bugs hit :(.
That thing in the middle is a worm :(
 Got new kicks for school
I think she has a bigger belly then mickey.
I know it was a lot of pics, thanks for reading if you actually made it to the bottom.

My Friend

So I have this friend, one I've had since college.  She calls me Tim and I get to call her Kit. You should meet her.  She is pretty darn incredible. Our lives are completely opposite.  I blog about babies, beach vacations, and the craziness of raising children.  She blogs about her life as a missionary in Mexico, traveling the world, her photography, and holding on to her plans loosely. She doesn't know this, but I used to look at her life and be a bit jealous of her experiences.  It wasn't until recently I truly realized that we are both missionaries, but with two entirely different mission fields.  Mine is raising my three little girls, being a wife to my husband, serving my church, and loving my neighbors.  Her's is in serving the poor, building them homes, leading mission trips, and sharing the gospel with people in the most unique of situations.  I am so thankful for my friend.  So thankful that there are people who serve in the way she does.  I am also incredibly thankful for the life I live and the way God gets to use me in my circumstances.  I can't wait until our lives get to meet up on her "turf".  One day I will get to take my three girls into her world and serve the people her heart bleeds for.  Until then I will continue to prepare my girls for this meeting and for others like it.  Until then I will continue praying for and encouraging my friend as she she serves the Lord with reckless abandon.  Please take the time to read my friends blog and pray for her ministry.  You might get encouraged by her in the way I do.  You might also want to check out the Casas por Cristo blog (it is the organization she works for).

Leaving Fripp

We had to be out of our house pretty early Saturday morning, so on the way out we went to check on Paps.  He is looking pretty good after one nasty wreck.  Pay was confused as to where his cast was, but all was better when she realized she could watch TV in his hospital room.
Not far from Fripp was this really cool historical marker that we just had to stop and take pictures of.
It was beautiful.  The combination of Live Oaks, Spanish Moss, and these old ruins made it a perfect picture setting...if only the girls would have thought the same it would have been great.

They loved this water pump because it really worked.

I tried to take lots more pictures, but they were too busy wanting to explore.  Oh well, there's always next time.  Hopefully there will be one because Fripp was one awesome beach vacation!

Friday at Fripp

Friday the 13th started out innocent enough... The ladies and kiddos headed back to the "fun pool" while B and Paps went for another ride.

After about 2 hours at the pool Cole runs through announcing to everyone that Paps had a wreck on his bike and broke his arm.  And break it he did.  Technically he had a compound fracture in his collar bone that would eventually require surgery that evening, but none the less it's a broken arm as far as the kids are concerned.
When we got Paps and Di Di all settled in the hospital the rest of us had a yummy fish lunch (sorry Dids and Paps) at the house.
After we ate we all headed out to the beach for the evening.  Why haven't we done this sooner.  No sunscreen was required, we didn't need to lug all of the beach gear down, it wasn't crowded at all, and no one complained about it being hot.  It was perfect.
We started by flying out kite.
Liv loved it because she got to chill with the rest of us and wasn't stuck under the tent.
Then we rounded things out with more playing in the sand and waves.
