Wednesday was a great day at Fripp. The girls headed out to the pool while the guys went for another ride. When the boys got there swimming was in full swing.
Q has become so confident with her swimming, she is our little fish.
Liv loved the water as well. She constantly kicked her feet in it.
The biggest event is that Pay learned how to swim this day! She had been wearing her "monkey" all day and had no interest in taking it off. Later that morning we met another 3 year old who was not only swimming, but diving for pool toys. This was all the encouragement she needed and took that monkey right off and swam right to B. That little stinker knew how to do it all along!
After lunch and naps we headed down to the next island, Hunting Island, which is a state park. It is so beautiful. Being a state park there are no houses on the beach, it is completely natural. They have a lighthouse you can climb up.
We were told at low tide they have great shells and a "tree grave yard" so we had to check it out. The girls and Di Di LOVE looking for shells, this chart told them of some on the island.
This is the area we searched after the tide went out. Pretty awesome.
Liv and B had their own hunt.
Score!
We had to stop for a photo op by some crazy trees.
After we left the park B and I even got to head out for a date while mom and dad took the girls back. Great day all around if you ask me.
