House M.D.

If anyone knows what is happening with Pay's skin in these next pictures please let us know. Monday she had four vaccinations at her 15 month appointment and about 7 pm that night she started breaking out with these crazy welts on her body and her skin turns bright red with a simple touch. We were thinking it is an allergic reaction to the shots, but Benadryl doesn't affect it. The good thing is after about 5 minutes of the redness and welts appearing they go away. She doesn't seem to be bothered by these, they are mainly gross looking. I will try to get better pictures, but this is what I have so far. It's hard to tell from this, but small welts come up on her hands. They are really red because I just washed them after eating, which aggravates the redness. This was literally 30 seconds after I washed off her face, but about 5 minutes later her face was back to normal (and no I'm not washing too hard). She has a welt right in the middle of her cheek in this shot.As Heather told me yesterday, I could have a happy kid with crazy red skin, or an ornery kid with normal skin - I'm not sure which I would choose right now.
